Bollywood heartthrob Katrina Kaif was baffled to hear the news that she is married to the BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola. The ruckus began when a fake marriage certificate started making rounds.

According to the certificate, Katrina and Ramesh’s marriage took place on December 2nd, 2008. However, Katrina says that she was in New York on that day shooting for a film. A police case has already been filed against the mischief mongers.

Taking all this in her stride, the gorgeous star says that it is a price that one pays as their popularity chart soars.
