Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the film which starred the favorite on screen pair of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol – has completed the 700 weeks of screening. After 14 years of its release, DDLJ in the year 2007 outran Sholay to become the longest screened film. A romantic flick, DDLJ is about a boy following his ladylove all the way to Punjab from London to tie the knot. The film’s music was also a chart buster and went on to win ten FilmFare awards. DDLJ was directed by Aditya Chopra. This SRK-starrer is being screened continuously at the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai.
