Adnan Ghalib: Britney was 'hoping she was pregnant with my child'

In an interview Tuesday night, January 22, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib told Entertainment Tonight and The Insider that his relationship with Britney Spears is "far from over" and they were spotted shopping for a pregnancy kit because Britney was "hoping she was pregnant with my child"

Elaborating on the incident where the two of them were photographed shopping for a pregnancy kit by photogs from FinalPixx, Adnan's photo agency, and the photos were later sold to tabloids Adnan said:

"She has a very maternal instinct. She was feeling a lot of things she said she felt when she was pregnant. I think she was hoping she was pregnant with my child."

Ghalib, who believes his relationship with Britney "turned romantic" before Christmas, insists that Britney is not crazy.

Explaining why she was seen laughing while being wheeled out on a gurney during the early hours of January 4, following her standoff with the police, Adnan said, "I think she was just afraid of what was going to happen. It doesn't mean you are crazy."

Adnan says Britney's British accent is innocuous and not a manifestation of a multiple personality disorder.

"She just thinks it's cute. Does that mean she is schizo? Absolutely not . . . It's no different than people taking off a pair of black sunglasses and putting on white ones," he said.

He also insists Britney is not suicidal and loves her kids.

"She never has suicidal tendencies," he said. "You've got to understand the love she has for her kids outweighs anything else."

Asked if he is ready to marry Britney Adnan responded, "I'd be lying if I said no."
