Former supermodel Carla Bruni has dismissed speculations that she had tied a knot in secret with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
The 40-year-old Italian singer told a newspaper that they were "not yet married" but were planning to do so, reports Usmagazine.com.
Sarkozy had recently indicated at a news conference that he would marry Bruni and added that the media would probably find out about it after the event.
However, a regional daily L'Est Republicain had revealed that pair had wed in private.
Indian diplomats were concerned over Bruni accompanying the divorced Sarkozy as it would be challenging the traditional protocol. (ANI)
