Mexican babe Barbara Mori is surprised that her on-screen lip lock with Hrithik Roshan in the movie Kites has become a talk of the town. The actress is amused as to why so much of fuss is being made about a kiss in a romantic movie. The movie revolves around an Indian salsa dancer played by Hrithik who falls for a Mexican girl played by Barbara.Barbara Mori has incidentally created a lot of buzz in Bollywood in the past couple of months over her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan. Rumors had it that Hrithik's wife Susanne had left home after being upset with hubby's extra-marital affair with the Mexican babe. This was later turned down by the couple who claimed to be still together.



Barbara comes from a totally different culture where kissing is as common as handshakes and is finding it difficult to understand the Indian culture. The actress should have been informed that a decade or so ago even a lip to lip kiss was censored from public viewing. A generation of Bollywood lovers grew up watching two red roses meeting instead of two lips. Well Barbara if you want to work in Bollywood better get acclimatised to the Indian culture and mentality!

Neetu Chandra's 'lesbian' act

Well, the sultry actress was only shooting for a men’s magazine.

But when it’s about two women getting up, close and personal in public, can the moral brigade really be far behind? A group of bystanders, who initially seemed to be a harmless bunch, suddenly turned violent at the sight of the two semi-clad women getting close, screaming slogans of Jai Maharashtra, claiming to have connections with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). “Although slightly outragaeous, the shoot was being done aesthetically,” said Neetu when contacted, adding, “But these men were a frustrated lot. First they tried to seek my attention and I acknowledged them. But as I went ahead with my work, they started feeling ignored and thus created a scene. They gave a political turn to the whole issue screaming communal slogans and we had to stop the shoot,” Neetu said.

Kate Winslet as Aamir Khan's Heroine

Superstar Aamir Khan is all set to team up with Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet in an international film based on Saadat Hasan Manto's famous partition story 'Toba Tek Singh', Femalefirst reported.
The pair will star in the film, which is based on Manto's take on the madness of partition in 1947. The story depicts the irony of the situation through the lunatics in a mental asylum in 1947.

Aamir is said to have been impressed with the script and will play the character of a mentally retarded person in the asylum.

If the actor agrees to work in the film, it would be his second movie on the subject. He had earlier starred in Deepa Mehta's 'Earth-1947', which was an adaptation of Bapsi Sidhawa's novel 'Ice Candyman'.The film will be directed by India-born filmmaker Pan Nalin, who has earlier directed highly acclaimed film 'Samsara'.

Nalin hopes to rope in Winslet for the project but if she rejects it, he will approach Rachel Weisz to play the role of Dr Sophie in the film, the website said.

"Either Kate or Rachel will be doing my film. I will be meeting both of them after my Cannes trip to finalise the casting. Either of them will be able to do justice to this marvelous story," Nalin said. PTI
