Shankar, the ultimate showman of Kollywood, who usually keeps everything about his movies under wraps before their release, has given the media a pleasant shock by releasing the posters of his magnum opus, ‘Endhiran-The Robot’, officially. The poster shows Rajnikanth in a robot get- up, kissing a rose.
The shooting of the mega-budget movie, produced by Ayngaran Internationals and Eros, commenced on Monday in Brazil, with Shankar and team canning a song sequence featuring Rajni and Aishwarya Rai.
R.Ratnavelu takes care of cinematography while Manish Malhotra handles the costume designing. Shankar has roped in Hollywood technicians to make his sci-fi film on par with international standards. Chinese martial arts choreographer and film director Yuen Woo-ping, who has worked for films like ‘Fist of Legend’ (1994), ‘The Matrix’ (1999), ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ (2000) etc, will choreograph the stunt sequences while technical assistance is being provided by the Stan Winston Studios (famous for having done the graphics for films like ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Indiana Jones’ etc).
