Laksmi Rai, on cloud nine following the terrific success of her Malayalam film '2 Harihar Nagar', is very upset with the rumours linking her to Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Though she has many invitations from her friends in South Africa to watch the IPL, she has declined all of them for fear of more stories on her 'relationship' with Dhoni.She says she has got much more important things happening in her career. Lakshmi Rai, who had a disastrous start in Kollywood a few years before, came back to reckoning with Jayam Ravi starrer 'Dhaam Dhoom'.
Lakshmi Rai has great expectations on her forthcoming Tamil films, 'Vamanan' and 'Naan Avan Illai- 2'. She has a few big projects on hand in Malayalam and is on talks for a Bollywood film.
