The Indian DTH market has seen intense competition from new entrants, particularly Sun DTH and Big TV. Amidst all this, the market leader Dish TV, has managed to maintain its lead over its competition, using a host of cost effective packages, a strategy that has augured well in the price sensitive Indian market.
Now they are coming up with another ad featuring their brand ambassador, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in an entirely new look. SRK is shown as an old man, romancing Tanvi Azmi. While SRK has played an old man in films like Veer Zaara earlier, the look here is different from anything that has been seen before.
The ad has been conceptualised by Prasoon Joshi of Taare Zameen Par fame, and directed by Anurag Basu.
